To show only the selected instrument on the keyboard in "Piano From Above," you typically need to access the program's settings or options to customize the display of instruments. Look for an "Instrument" or "Track" settings section, where you may be able to filter or select which instrument or track is visible on the virtual keyboard. If the software manual or help documentation is available, it might have detailed instructions on how to adjust these settings.
Hi, First, great application learn songs! So when using waiting mode to learn a song from a midi file, it waits from right hand input. Is it possible to set waiting mode for left hand? And maybe, for both hands at the same time? Thanks.

I posted that question and by searching after, I found the solution. The track (left / right hand or both) can be selected with menu Play > Learn > Next track.
It seems like there may be an issue with the program's display on your computer. Have you tried restarting the program or your computer to see if it resolves the issue?
Edit: I just had to manually maximize the window by right clicking the preview in the taskbar and maximizing it. Thnx for the help anyways tho. ;)

I've installed the Piano From Above using the download found on the Software Informer application page and everything worked normally. After installation, the software appeared on the screen and I was able to use the available tracks to see how they play. You can start/stop the song on the screen using the Space button or the button controls.
If you have issues with the software, right click it and choose Run as Administrator, then continue with installation and it should work properly.
It is not clear if the developers of Piano From Above have plans to make an Android-compatible version of the software. It is recommended to contact the developers directly or to monitor their website or social media pages for any updates on this matter.
At first the App ran But then I put a song in the folder, then it just stopped and it wont show up on taskbar it does show up in the task manager though....
Edit: It runs now Its just a song was making it not open
I want to transpose the song one octave higher so that I can play all the notes in the file.

In the "Piano From Above" program, you can transpose a song by selecting the song and going to the "Edit" menu, then choosing "Transpose" and entering the desired number of semitones to transpose the song. To transpose one octave higher, you would enter "+12" as the number of semitones.
Many files that I have contain more than 1 instrument; for example, 2, 3 or 4 instruments. How do I separate instruments so that I can focus on only the piano or other instrument part?

User Question: How do I separate instruments in Piano From Above to focus on only one instrument?
Answer: In order to select only one instrument in Piano From Above, you can try the following steps:
Open the desired file containing multiple instruments in Piano From Above.
Look for the channel settings panel in the software interface.
In the channel settings panel, you should see a list of all the instruments in the file.
Locate the instrument you want to focus on, such as the piano or any other specific instrument part.
Click on that instrument in the list to select it.
Once selected, you can now focus on and work with only the chosen instrument, muting or adjusting the other instrument parts as needed.
Please note that the specific steps may vary slightly depending on the version and settings of Piano From Above, but generally, this should help you separate and focus on a particular instrument in the program.

I don't want to install the application, like Synthesia where a version is a portable .zip file.
No, there is no portable version of "Piano From Above" available.
